About the role
Our robots navigate by camera and lidar in warehouses that were never designed for them — reflective floors, moving pallets, people. You'll own the perception models that decide what's actually there.
You'll work with the hardware team on what the sensors can and can't give you, and with the controls team on what they need from you. Models ship to constrained on-board compute, so inference cost is a design constraint from day one, not an afterthought.
What we're looking for
3+ years shipping computer vision or sensor-fusion models to production
Strong PyTorch, and the ability to read a paper and reimplement it
Experience optimising inference for edge hardware
C++ for the parts of the pipeline that can't be Python
Hybrid: 2 days a week in our Berlin office, near the test floor
